Forgiveness
We have all had bad things happen to us. It is important to learn forgiveness. Not for the people who have hurt you, but for yourself. When you do not forgive, you hold that anger and frustration in your energy field. If it stays there long enough, it can block your energy and cause health problems.
Forgiving others is hard enough! Did you know we often do more harm to ourselves than others do? We often get in the way of our our dreams because for whatever reason, we feel we deserve to have them come true. Learning to forgive ourselves is even more difficult.
We all make mistakes, it’s part of the learning process. More often than not, we are very hard on ourselves when we make mistakes. We need to learn how to see ourselves differently in order to forgive ourselves even more. We need to see ourselves as being human and learning from our mistakes.
There are some wonderful ways to learn forgiveness practices that will help you in the long run. It has proven meditation helps reduce stress. When we meditate on a problem, the answers come to us more easily. Meditation helps us focus. It can sometimes take days for the answers to come, but often they do come to us.
Learning to let go is another way of forgiveness. Some people hold grudges for little things that happen. This is where self-awareness and self-love come in. Know yourself well and understand holding a grudge is doing you more damage than good. It is worth it to hold on to that grudge.
We developed, learning to forgive and let go skills. It takes time and practice, start small and work your way through your most troublesome problems. Always try to give yourself and others the benefit of the doubt. Many of our hardest problems start with misunderstandings. Learning to forgive is not always easy, it takes time and practice.
