Midnight Rose
Your peddles only bloom at night.
You seem to be hidden out of sight.
Don’t be afraid of the light.
You are a creature of great might.
Do not live in fright.
Come out and greet the light.
Don’t sleep all day.
I wish, for you to stay.
This is the place where you belong.
I know, you are strong.
Please, come into the light of day.
For this I pray.
I need you to stay.
I need you to fight.
Break free from the night.

Beautifully written Brenda! Seems we all have times in our lives when we need to break free from what could be referred to as the night.
