26 years ago, my grandfather died.
They were 26 years that went by in the blink of an eye.
There are still days when I miss him and cry.
Our bond was so strong nothing could break it.
God made him my Guardian Angel.
Now he sits in Heaven watching over me.
26 years gone by with no memorial to him.
I started a rose garden on a whim.
This is my memorial to him.
A gold bench with two hounds on either side.
I made this memorial with lots of pride.
My love for them, I cannot hide.
