Hope is something none of us can do without. I am often told by many people, the one thing they admire about me is, I never give up hope. Sometimes in my life, all I had was hope. Hope got me through.

 

I always try to look at the good side of everything. My dear husband, shows me the darker side of things. Not because he is a negative person. Because, he has to look at both sides of everything. He must point out things from all angles. It’s one thing I love about him. He always keeps me grounded.

 

For many years, I have had hopes and dreams I never gave up on. Working very hard, for a long time seeing no results. I had to change things many times. Losing things that were very important to me. But I never gave up hope. After about fifteen years, things are turning around. Good things are happening. Part of the reason things are changing so much for the better is I never gave up hope.

 

Another reason things started changing for the better was I change the way I looked at things. I always try to see the good in everything and everyone.

 

Changing the way, I saw myself was a tremendous help. I am a smart woman with great ideas that I want to share with the world. I did not always see myself this way. But, I learned how to build up my self-esteem and to love myself first. I started believing in myself and discovering all the wonderful things I was capable of. I became more self-aware.

 

It took time and effort to develop these skills. Self-love and self-esteem are things that should be taught at a young age. Self-worth and self-esteem are vital to any person. Sometimes life can widdle them away.

 

Never give up hope. The one thing you can always be certain in this world is things are always going to change. Change the way you perceive things and you can make them better. Try to see the good in every situation. And never give up hope.
