Poem: Slow Down

Slow down, let the world unwind,
Breathe in deep and clear your mind.
The rush, the noise, it fades away,
In quiet moments, let your heart stay.

The sky, so vast, begins to speak,
Whispers soft, though calm and meek.
Each step you take, the ground feels near,
A gentle pace, no need for fear.

Let time slip by like flowing streams,
Let go of hurried, restless dreams.
In stillness, find a peaceful sound,
In slowing down, you’ll be unbound.

For life’s not meant to race ahead,
But savor moments softly spread.
So slow your breath, and softly find,
The beauty in a quiet mind.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie Fluharty
