Poem: I Want to Do It All

Image by Mircea Iancu from Pixabay

I want to taste the sky at dawn,
To run where every path is drawn,
To learn, to build, to leap, to fly,
To write my name across the sky.

I want to dance in distant lands,
To sculpt the world with eager hands,
To sing a song that shakes the trees,
To ride the wildness of the breeze.

I want to love with open eyes,
To fail, to laugh, to try, to rise.
To dive into the deep unknown,
And claim each heartbeat as my own.

I want to stretch this life so wide
That not a moment hides inside—
To feel it all, both fierce and small,
No holding back—
I want it all.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
