Guided Meditation: Connecting to the Sun

(Approx. 10–15 minutes)

Find a quiet space. You can sit or lie down, indoors near a sunny window or outside where you can feel the sunlight. If it’s nighttime, that’s okay—this meditation works with the inner sun as well. Close your eyes when you’re ready.

1. Begin to Arrive

Take a deep breath in through your nose… and slowly exhale through your mouth.
Let your shoulders drop, your jaw unclench. Let your breath begin to settle.
Inhale deeply… and exhale fully.

Let yourself arrive—not just in your body, but in this moment.
There’s nowhere else you need to be.

2. Ground Yourself

Feel the surface beneath you—the chair, the earth, the ground.
Imagine roots gently growing from your body, anchoring you into the earth.
With each breath out, feel yourself becoming more stable, more supported.

Let the earth hold you.

3. Call in the Sun

Now, bring your awareness upward.
Imagine a warm golden light above you—this is the Sun.
Whether it’s shining outside or hidden behind clouds, the Sun is always there—radiant, constant, generous.

Visualize the sunlight streaming down toward you, golden and alive.

4. Soak in the Light

Imagine the sunlight touching the crown of your head…
Feel it warm your scalp, your face, your neck.
Let it pour down your shoulders, arms, and chest.

Breathe in the light.
Let it travel into your lungs… your heart… your belly.

Each cell drinks in this golden energy.
Feel it flowing down your spine, through your legs, into your feet, and into the earth.

5. Receive Its Gifts

The Sun offers light without asking for anything in return.
Feel its warmth energizing you—filling you with vitality, courage, and clarity.

Let it clear away fog, doubt, fatigue.
Let it remind you: You are a being of light, just like the Sun.

Take a moment to ask:
What message does the Sun have for me today?
Listen… without forcing. Just notice.

6. Radiate Back

Now, imagine that golden light inside you, building at your center—your solar plexus.
With each breath, it grows brighter, warmer.

You are now glowing with solar energy.
Let that light gently radiate outward—to your surroundings, to others, to the world.

You don’t need to do anything—just be radiant.

7. Return Gently

Begin to bring your awareness back to your body.
Feel your breath moving.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Feel the ground beneath you. The air on your skin.

Take a deep breath in…
And as you exhale, gently open your eyes.

🌞 Closing Reflection

Sit for a moment in stillness.
Feel the energy you’ve gathered.
Carry it with you—warmth, clarity, and strength—through the rest of your day or night.
