Poem: Never Stop Trying

Never Stop Trying

When the road bends dark and narrows tight,
And every step feels wrong, not right,
When doubt speaks louder than your name
And whispers softly, stay the same

Breathe in hope. Lift your chin.
The bravest battles are within.
For every fall that scars the ground
Is proof you moved, not stayed spellbound.

The seed breaks open in the dirt,
It grows because it dares the hurt.
The dawn is born from endless night,
The stars persist by burning bright.

You are not late. You are not done.
The race is yours—run how you run.
Each fragile try, each trembling start
Is courage learning how to heart.

So fail, and fail, and rise once more,
That’s what your aching dreams are for.
The world is changed by those who choose
To try again, with more to lose.

Hold fast to this when hope feels thin:
The quiet vow deep under skin—
No matter how the winds are crying,
Live this truth:

Never stop trying.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
