Poem: Imagination

Imagination is a door with no lock,
a sky with no ceiling,
a river that refuses the word end.

It begins when a quiet thought
steps lightly across your mind
like a curious cat
and asks, what if the moon could whisper?

What if mountains remembered
every footstep of every traveler?
What if the wind carried secret letters
between the trees?

Imagination builds cities in clouds,
plants lanterns in oceans,
and teaches ordinary dust
how to become stars.

It turns sidewalks into adventures,
raindrops into tiny drums,
and a simple question
into a thousand bright doors.

Never stop opening them.

Because somewhere
behind the next impossible idea
is a universe waiting patiently
for someone brave enough

to imagine it first.

Thank you for reading,
