Poetry is a part of a person’s heart and soul.
The words the poet writes are their souls revealed.
Poetry is a way to see the different sides of the poet.
Some poetry sings and brings joy and delight.
Other poems show the souls inter fight.
Some poetry belongs only to the night.
And some poetry is only for the poet’s soul to know.
For the ones who love to read poetry
Know that every poem you read
Is a piece of the poet’s soul being revealed
Not just for you and the rest of the world
But mostly for the poet that writes them.
