In youth, I looked at the dark side.
I hold this part of me with great pride.
It has made me all that I am.
The dark side has set me free.
Being alone was always the best place for me.
I did not sit and hide.
I sat and looked deep inside.
Looking for the answers that only the soul knows.
Discovering the way to make the soul grow.
Now, this did not happen overnight.
It took years, but happened with great delight.
