The Perfect Spring Day

The breeze gently kisses me on the cheek.

It’s been weeks since the sun glittered so beautifully.

The flower buds glance up from the ground.

Birds and ducks produce every sound.

Spring is in the air washing away all the cares.

The winter days dissolving away,

No more observing things decay.

New life starting to bloom

Fighting through winter gloom.

Flickers of light reflect in the waters

Of the neighboring stream.

Nature whistles with the fresh devotion she brings.

The forests begin to develop leaves

Twigs hover in the springtime breeze.

I would live in paradise if all the days were like this.

Spring is in the air washing aside all my cares.

Just for a minute, I will stay in the splendid spring day.

  1. Spring his on the the way. Leaves are coming out. We had our last(?) hard frost this week, but most things survived! A beautiful poem and photo!
