Writing Through the Soul: From the Spiritual Mystic to Poetry

Writing Through the Soul: From the Spiritual Mystic to Poetry, July Ultimate Blogging Challenge

It has been some time since I have written anything. I knew I wanted to do the July Ultimate Blogging Challenge. I just did not know what blog I was going to use for it. The Spiritual Mystic is my main blog, or at least that was what I had always thought.

I had not planned on using Writing Through the Soul because I let the domain expire. At the very last minute, all of that change. I followed my heart and went back to Writing Through the Soul. Without even thinking about it, I updated the site.

I surprised myself when I did this. I have always wanted to help people with my writing. My spiritual journey is very special to me and I share it with, The Spiritual Mystic. Hoping to help others on their own spiritual journey.

Not once did I ever think I do this with my poetry as well! I have loved writing poetry since I was a child. Never really giving any thought that I was helping people with it. After all, it’s just poetry. Or at least that was what I thought.

That all changed when a friend pointed out to me that my poetry helped her on her spiritual journey. It made me realize; I do all my writing from the soul. Sharing my poetry with the world is sharing my gift. Here I am, back to writing from the soul.

Writing Through the Soul: From the Spiritual Mystic to Poetry

I have always gone back and forth from writing spiritually based articles to writing poetry and short stories. That is just who I am. I love writing and enjoying sharing my work with people. My personal life got crazy, and I have written little in the past year.

Realizing writing is so important to me, I had to do it again. Writing helps me to relax. Writing brings me great joy and happiness. I need to have it in my life in some form. The flow of things was what I went with. Feeling like I am being guided by a higher power. Here I am, back to doing what I love and enjoy. Writing what pops into my mind.

I promised myself, I will just go with the flow and writing whatever comes up. I will enjoy this blogging challenge, as it is a chance to get back into writing. Writing daily will help me get back into the swing of things. I am very excited to see where all of this goes. Maybe I will even get back into writing novels again. I will just have to wait and see what happens.

I am looking forward to reading all of my fellow writers’ work during the Ultimate Blogging challenge. Seeing old friend and making new ones along the way. There is so much fun to be had with these challenges. I hope you all feel the same way.

Thank-you reading.

Much Love and light.
