Let Go Of Each Other

Walk down the road meant for only you.

Leaving me will not make me blue.

Do what you were meant to do.

Be who you were meant to be.

I was only here is help guide you.

We were never meant to hide you.

We must let go of each other’s hands.

We must learn it’s safe to stand

Without each other.

We must learn to trust in ourselves.

Trust that God will lend a helping hand.

If we end up in a bind.

We must trust that everything will be fine.

You were never mine

And I was never yours.

We have to learn how to be free.

Free from a bond that was set in time.

Now, we have to let each other go.
