Why did I let them stop me?
Did their words ring in my heart
So loudly that I fell apart.
Their words were negative and unflattering
But I should have been stronger.
My heart is really all that matters.
Did their words really mean that much to me?
Did they really have that much power?
Why did I let them deflower my power?
Did I feel they were better than me?
It really does not matter.
I have healed old wounds
That I have let bloom in the past.
My words will be heard
As they are the power of my soul.
I have changed.
I have become brave and bold.
I will not let anyone stop my flowering soul.
