I long to write all day and all night.
It’s my dream to let the words flow.
To let everyone know all that I know.
Writing is God’s plan for me.
Writing helps me share my vision
For all to see.
I long to share all that I know.
I no longer want to hide it inside.
It’s not foolish pride.
I let my higher-self be my guide.
But writing takes a backseat
To a life that has beaten me
Like a piece of meat.
There is always something else to do.
There is always someone to take care of.
I am so blue.
I can never find the time to do what my soul longs for
I want to write all day and night.
But, I want to do it without a fight.
