Writing Through the Soul: Working on the Dream

Writing Through the Soul: Working on the Dream

I hope everyone is doing well.  I have been busy.  Working on the dream of writing a few books.  Been going out of the box and doing things I would normally never do.  Entering a few contests, writing for a few collection books and working on a few of my own books, just to name a few.

Poetry is my childhood love and I have decided, it’s time to go a little farther with my writing.  I know, what I am good and what I need to work on. When it comes to my writing, nonfiction is what I do best.  Being a shaman, past-life therapist, and Reiki Master, I do have some very interesting stories to tell.

Being a dog lover, the thought of writing a few different books about dogs has come to mind. I have been doing a lot of exploring and brainstorming on several ideas.  Finding some of my old notes and outlines for works, I have started long ago, has also given me new ideas.

Writing Through the Soul: Working on the Dream, Finding the Time

Working on your childhood dream takes time.  We all have very busy lives to live. Finding the time to do what you love, is a matter of making the time. It seems like I also have something to do. My dog Bella has been sick lately and I take care of a disabled person so, I have to make time to write.

Making time to write is not easy for me. Taking care of the house, yard and family comes first. Often my writing has been a last thought.

Looking back at the past 20 years.  They have gone by fast. I have realized now more than ever, it is time, to give life to my dreams. Making the time to write and moving forward with it.  That is what I have been doing for myself, the past month.  I hope to continue the pattern.  That is what I have been up to and why I have not posted much here.

Thank-you for reading.

Much love and light,

Brenda Marie
