Reading Through the Soul: Fairies, Myths, & Magic II: A Winter Celebration by Colleen M. Chesebro

Colleen M. Chesebro is a fellow blogger, I have been following for some time. I love reading her book reviews and sometimes joining in on her poetry challenges. I highly recommend checking out her blog. Word Craft- Prose and Poetry.

This is the second book in the Fairies, Myths, & Magic series. I have read the first book about the summer and I highly recommend it. Colleen is highly knowledgeable in Pagan tradition and shares that knowledge throughout the book. That is only one thing I love about this series. Honestly, I can’t say enough about this book. I loved it from cover to cover.

One of my favorite poems is Poetic Spell Craft. I loved this one so much because it hit home for me. I feel the same way about poetry. When reading

Fairies, Myths, & Magic II, you can feel Colleen’s magic coming through on every page.

Another one of my favorites is The Crow’s Gift. I don’t think there was anything about this book I didn’t enjoy. I know, I will be reading it again. I loved how Colleen explained the 12 days of Yule and talks about crystals. For me this was one magical book. I thank Colleen for writing it and sharing her knowledge, wisdom and magic with the world.
