Energy Healing: Connecting to the Energy Flow
All energy healing begins with learning how to connect to the flow of energy that surrounds us. This works best if you are outside and barefoot. You can do it inside as well. Stand or sit with your feet on the ground. Put your hands to your sides with your palms facing up towards the sky. Take several deep breathe and let the air flow in and out of your body.
Starting by focusing on your feet. They should be firmly on the ground or floor, a few inches apart. Focus on the bottoms of your feet. There are chakras there. Picture energy moving upwards from the center of the Earth. Try to feel the energy coming up through your feet from the ground. It may take a few minutes for you to feel anything. Feel the energy moving from your feet, up your legs and into your lower regions. All along, taking deep breaths in and out. You should have a pleasant rhythm going with your breath.
The flow of energy feels different to different people. It could feel cold, hot, or cool. The speed of the energy can be different as well it depends on the person. As long as you are feeling the flow of the energy, things are going well.
Feel the energy flowing up your body and through your arms and out of your hands. Feel it flow all the way to the top of your head and out of it. You should be feeling the energy all throughout your body. Some people get a tickling sensation from the energy flow. If you are feeling like someone is tickling you, it’s normal.
Take some time to get used to the flow of the energy. What does it feel like to you? How fast is it flowing? How does the energy make you feel? Is it flowing freely or is it stopping anywhere? These are all things you need to be aware of.
You should do this at least 20 minutes a day, to learn how the energy feels for you. Remember connecting to the energy is like any other skill it takes time to learn and understand.
Much Love and light,

Brenda, this is beautiful!! It is what I do every day. It’s actually a part of my healing practice, but also grounding. And I believe many more people need to know about it, so thank you for putting it out there.
Thank-you,
It’s part of what I do as well.
