Poem: Honor All Life

In forests deep and oceans wide,
Where creatures dwell, with every stride,
Let our hearts be open, let our souls be free,
To honor all life that is yet to be.

From smallest insects, buzzing in the air,
To mighty elephants, roaming without a care,
Each being holds a purpose, a unique role,
In the grand tapestry that makes us all whole.

Let us honor the birds that grace the skies,
Their melodies carrying ancient lullabies,
With wings that soar, and feathers so bright,
They bring us joy, from morning till night.

And the creatures of the sea, with scales so bright,
Navigating depths, in eternal delight,
Their brilliance beneath the waves, a sight to behold,
Let’s honor their existence, as their stories unfold.

The creatures of the land, with footsteps strong,
Roaming fields and forests, where they belong,
From majestic lions, to graceful gazelles,
Their presence on Earth, a gift that excels.

But let’s not forget the beings we rarely see,
The microorganisms, so vital, so key,
From the tiniest ants, to the slimiest snail,
They too deserve our honor without fail.

For in this interconnected web we live,
Every life form, big or small, has a gift to give,
A lesson to teach, a story to share,
An integral part of this world, beyond compare.

Let us honor all life, with respect and grace,
For it is in their existence, that we find our own place,
With love as our guide, let’s protect and defend,
The precious and fragile, until the very end.

For in honoring all life, we honor ourselves,
And nurture a world where compassion delves,
Where harmony reigns, in every living soul,
A testament to the beauty of our shared goal.

So let us walk together, hand in hand,
In this journey of life, across this wondrous land,
Honoring the creatures, big and small,
And in doing so, we honor life’s calling.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and light,

Blessings to all,

Brenda Marie
