Poem: Restoring My Spirit

In the haven of silence, my spirit finds peace,
Where the winds gently whisper, and troubles release.
Restoring my spirit, like the ripples on a lake,
Calming my soul, with every breath I take.

Through the trials and tribulations I stride,
Seeking solace in nature’s embrace, far and wide.
Amongst towering trees, I find strength to heal,
Their ancient wisdom, my spirit can feel.

In the meadows adorned with wildflowers’ grace,
I dance with abandon, freeing the burdens I chase.
The vibrant colors, like a painter’s dream,
Breathe life into my soul, as I let go of the scream.

By the riverside, I sit in quiet contemplation,
Witnessing the currents, their gentle undulation.
They wash away my worries, leaving only tranquility,
Restoring my spirit, with a sense of serenity.

The rustling leaves whisper tales of seasons gone by,
As I walk along the path, under the open sky.
Nature’s symphony, its harmonious song,
Lifts my spirits high, as I hum along.

In the golden hues of the setting sun,
I find the strength to face whatever’s to come.
For it’s in these moments, that I truly see,
The beauty in life, and the strength within me.

So I’ll continue to seek refuge, in nature’s embrace,
To restore my spirit, and find my rightful place.
For amidst the chaos and struggles we face,
Nature holds the key, to our inner grace.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and light,

Brenda Marie
