Poem: Acceptance

A humble soul with open hands,
Accepting what Fate has in store,
Embracing all that lies before.

In victories grand, I rejoice,
But also in failures, I find my voice,
For in every stumble, every fall,
There is a lesson, standing tall.

Acceptance is my guiding light,
A beacon shining through the night,
No matter what challenges arise,
I greet them with unwavering eyes.

In the face of sorrow, I won’t despair,
For I know that life is not always fair,
I accept the hardships, heavy and grim,
And find strength with every whim.

Acceptance does not mean I do not strive,
But rather that I am alive,
To the flow of life, I surrender,
In its currents, I find tender splendor.

With acceptance, my heart finds peace,
A sense of calm that will never cease,
In every high and every low,
I accept, and my spirit will grow.

So, let me accept life’s gift and plight,
Embrace the darkness and welcome the light,
For in acceptance, I find my way,
And in every moment, I’ll dance and sway.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and light,

Brenda Marie
