Poem: Shining Souls

In this vast world of chaos and gloom,
There lies a truth, hidden in the room.
The most beautiful souls, oh, how they shine,
Have traversed through the darkness, a pain so inescapable, it’s like a vine.

For every tear they shed and every heartache they bear,
Their spirits grow stronger, as they rise from despair.
They’ve endured the storms, the hurricanes of life,
Battered and bruised, yet still shining so bright.

Their pain becomes their armor, their scars a badge of honor,
For through their suffering, they have become much stronger.
The weight of the world may bring them to their knees,
But their resilience and beauty can put anyone at ease.

They possess a depth and understanding so profound,
Empathy runs through them, like veins under the ground.
They’ve tasted sorrow, and it’s made them kind,
Compassion radiates from within, an energy that’s hard to find.

Their smiles, like sunrays after a heavy rain,
Illuminate the darkness, erasing all the strain.
Their laughter, a melody that heals wounded hearts,
A balm for the soul, a fresh start.

The most beautiful souls have walked through fire,
But their flames didn’t consume them, they only made them higher.
Their pain gave birth to wisdom and empathy,
A beauty that transcends the limitations of reality.

So, when you encounter a soul shining so bright,
Know that they’ve overcome the darkest of nights.
Their journey might be hidden, their pain unseen,
But their radiance and strength is incomparably serene.

For the most beautiful souls, oh, how they shine,
Their pain transformed them into something divine.
So, cherish their presence, learn from their grace,
For they have conquered the darkness and found a sacred place.

Thank-you for reading.

Much love and light,

Brenda Marie
