In the realm of frailty, where secrets reside,
Misunderstandings sow seeds, where the truth may hide.
Like shadows in moonlight, they dance and they sway,
Twisting perceptions, leading minds astray.
A single word spoken, with the wrong intent,
Can ignite a wildfire, fueled by discontent.
Egos clash violently, with passionate might,
Harsh words thrown as daggers, in the dead of night.
Misinterpretations, like ripples on a pond,
Spread far and wide, till harmony is gone.
Intentions lost in translation, like whispers in the wind,
Leaving hearts wounded, as the misunderstandings begin.
With hasty assumptions and judgmental eyes,
We fabricate stories, built on fragile lies.
Weary souls roam, in this maze of confusion,
Lost in the labyrinth of false delusion.
Oh, how easy it is to misconstrue,
The intentions of others, and see them askew.
We build walls of miscommunication, brick by brick,
Till empathy and compassion are left feeling sick.
But perhaps, in the stillness, there lies a chance,
To unravel the tangles, to rectify the dance.
To strip away layers of distorted perception,
And rediscover the beauty in genuine connection.
For misunderstandings, though painful, can teach,
Lessons of humility, harmony, they preach.
To listen with empathy, to seek to understand,
Excavate the truth buried beneath the shifting sands.
So let us untangle this web we’ve created,
Release misguided judgments, they’re overrated.
Let compassion lead the way, through the fog of dismay,
And find common ground, where misunderstandings may fray.
For in the heart of each life, there lies a yearning,
To bridge the divide, to cease the constant turning.
To forge a bond, beyond words and their sway,
Where true understanding holds its eternal sway.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and light,
Brenda Marie
