Poem: Friend Who’s Family

In times of joy, in times of strife,
There’s one thing that remains for life.
Through thick and thin, come what may,
A friend who’s family lights the way.

They’re there for laughs, when spirits soar,
They’re there for tears, when hearts are sore.
With open arms, they always stand,
A comforting presence, a helping hand.

A friend who’s family knows your soul,
They share your dreams, they make you whole.
They understand your every thought,
A bond so deep, it can’t be bought.

They’re there to listen, when no one will,
They offer solace, when dreams stand still.
With words of wisdom, they guide the way,
Igniting hope, chasing clouds away.

A friend who’s family lifts you high,
When life’s challenges make you sigh.
They celebrate your triumphs with cheer,
Wiping away all traces of fear.

Through ups and downs, they never fade,
A constant presence, an endless aid.
A friend who’s family, forever near,
Their love and support both crystal clear.

So cherish these friends, who are family indeed,
For they’re a blessing born of a special seed.
Hold them close, forever and a day,
For a friend who’s family, never goes away.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and light,

Brenda Marie
