
Today’s message is about perseverance. We all go through changes in our lives. Some of them easy and some of them difficult. In difficult times know you have the inner strength to persevere. Love yourself for making it, as far as, you have. Things always change and you get through.
Guided Meditation to Help Persevere
Welcome to this guided meditation to help you persevere. In this meditation, we will focus on building resilience and cultivating inner strength to navigate through challenging times. Let’s begin by finding a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down, and gently closing your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs, and exhale slowly through your mouth, letting go of any tension or stress you may be carrying. Allow yourself to fully let go of the outside world and bring your attention to the present moment.
Now, bring your attention to your breath. Notice the natural rhythm of your breathing, the coolness as you inhale, and the warmth as you exhale. Take a few moments to simply observe your breath, allowing your mind to settle and relax.
As you continue breathing, imagine a golden light surrounding your body, bringing warmth and a sense of calmness. With every inhale, feel this golden light expanding within you, radiating outwards, filling your entire being.
Today, we will focus on three key elements to help you persevere: acceptance, gratitude, and determination.
Begin by reflecting on the concept of acceptance. Acceptance is not about giving up or resigning yourself to a situation. It is about acknowledging and embracing what is, without judgment or resistance. Take a moment to think about a current challenge you are facing. As you breathe, silently repeat to yourself, “I accept what is.” Allow this phrase to sink deeply into your consciousness, as you release any resistance or need for control.
Now, shift your focus to gratitude. Gratitude is a powerful force that helps shift our perspective and allows us to see the positive aspects of any situation. Bring to mind something or someone you are truly grateful for. It could be a person, a skill you possess, or a positive experience. As you breathe, silently repeat to yourself, “I am grateful for…” and fill in the blank with your chosen gratitude. Allow this feeling of gratitude to fill your heart, uplifting your spirit and shifting your mindset.
Finally, let’s cultivate determination. Determination is the inner strength that keeps us going when things get tough. Visualize yourself facing your current challenge with unwavering determination. See yourself continuing to move forward, taking one step at a time, no matter how difficult or uncertain the path may seem. As you breathe, silently repeat to yourself, “I am determined.” Feel this determination pulsating through every cell of your body, igniting your resolve and inner power.
Take a moment to embrace these three elements – acceptance, gratitude, and determination – as you continue breathing deeply. Allow their combined energy to fill you up, providing you with the strength to persevere through any obstacle or adversity that comes your way.
Know that you are capable and resilient. You possess the inner resources needed to overcome any challenges that lie ahead. Take another deep breath in, and as you exhale, slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Open your eyes and take a moment to notice how you feel. Carry this sense of acceptance, gratitude, and determination with you as you navigate through life. Remember, you are strong, and you have the power to persevere.
