Poem: I Am Seen

In a world with endless noise and blare,
Where darkness lingers and despair,
I am seen, though oft concealed,
A soul longing to be revealed.

In silent moments, on empty streets,
Where shadows dance and secrets meet,
I am seen, with hidden grace,
Yearning for acceptance’s embrace.

Through the chaos and constant din,
Where judgments thrive and fault-lines thin,
I am seen, stripping off the masks,
Unveiling my true self, no more unasks.

Amidst the storms and raging tides,
Where vulnerability surely hides,
I am seen, standing tall and true,
True to the person I always knew.

For even when the world turns blind,
To the depths of my heart and mind,
I am seen, by those who truly see,
The authentic essence that makes me, me.

So, let us not fear judgment’s gaze,
Or allow it to dim our fiery blaze,
For I am seen, and in that sight,
I find the strength to shine my light.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
