Writing Through the Soul: Mother Moments

Writing Through the Soul: Mother Moment

One of the greatest things about being a mother is those little moments and I treasure every moment that I have with Mark Edward.  I am a huge Wrestling fan from the 80″s and my son is too.  Our favorite Tag Team is the Road Warriors.  They come out to their matches to the song Iron Man. My son loves the song. I love to watch him sing and dance to it.

One thing about my son that only I share with him is that he wants to be a professional wrestler.  Not of today, though. He wishes he could wrestle with the Road Warriors,  He would be their six man tag team partner.  Their rivals would be the Fabulous Freebirds my son’s other favorite tag team.  I hate to tell Rob Noble, but Mark Edward thinks he looks like Micheal Hayes.

Rob Noble, do you all think he looks like Micheal Hayes? Micheal Hayes is the wrestler in the middle for those of you who don’t know.

Writing Through the Soul: Mother Moment Fun with Canva

Mark Edward is an artist and he loves Canva.  He made his own wrestling promotion posters.  These are so great I want to see all of these matches.

This is Mark Edwards wrestling pose. His wrestling name would be Iron Man.

Notice how his name is bigger.  I am not sure if he did that on purpose or not, but, I did notice it.

Rob Noble has been my son Mark’s best buddy since he was a little kid. He is the only one Mark talks about more than my mother. Mark loves and respects Rob.

On my mother’s deathbed she told me, she could go, knowing Mark Edward would have Rob. Thank-you Rob for all that you are and giving my mother that peace before she died.

I hope you all loved this post as much as I do.

Much Love and light,

Brenda Marie

  1. I’m not a mother… but hope to one day be a father and know many mothers. I will share this with some of them.

  2. How fun to discover your love of wrestling and the people within it. I have been to one in person wrestling event and it was very fun. It was like being in another world temporarily!

    1. That is so sweet for you and Mark to have the love for wrestling! When my oldest daughter was younger, she and her grandfather would watch wrestling together, such a bond! I’m happy to see Mark working on those cool posters!

  3. That is so sweet that you and Mark share a love of wrestling! I like his posters. And I do see the resemblance between Rob and the guy in the middle.

  4. It’s good to have dreams and ambitions, and it looks like your son has been visualizing them!

I suppose the adds in your blog are personalized for your visitors. Since I have recently googled “Barbie’s car” there are now toy pink cadillacs scattered in-between the wrestling and the iron man ;-)))
