Guided Meditation: Guided Meditation to Clear the Darkness from Self

 

Begin by finding a quiet and comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed for the duration of this guided meditation. Sit or lie down in a relaxed position, allowing your body to settle and your mind to calm.

Close your eyes, take a deep breath in, and slowly exhale, releasing any tension or distractions you may be holding onto. Allow your body to relax with each breath you take, feeling a sense of peace and tranquility washing over you.

Now, bring your attention to the darkness that may be present within yourself. Visualize it as a dense cloud, obscuring your inner light and causing discomfort. As you become aware of this darkness, acknowledge that it is a part of you, but it does not define you. Remind yourself that you are worthy and deserving of healing and growth.

Imagine a soft, warm light beginning to emanate from the center of your being. This light represents love, peace, and clarity. With each inhale, feel this light expanding and growing brighter, filling your entire body and extending beyond its boundaries.

As the light within you grows brighter, visualize it gently penetrating the cloud of darkness that surrounds you. See the darkness gradually dissipating, as the light breaks through its barriers and illuminates every corner of your being.

With each breath, imagine the light erasing any negativity, doubt, or pain that may have taken root within you. Allow it to cleanse your mind, body, and spirit, leaving no trace of darkness behind.

As the light expands within you, feel a sense of relief and release. Notice how your body feels lighter and free from the weight of the darkness that once consumed you. Embrace this newfound clarity and inner peace.

Now, take a moment to set an intention for moving forward. Declare that you are choosing to let go of negativity, and instead, embrace positivity, love, and light. Feel the strength and empowerment that comes with this decision, knowing that you are capable of creating a brighter and more fulfilling future for yourself.

Take a few more deep breaths, slowly bringing your awareness back to the present moment. Wiggle your fingers and toes, and when you’re ready, gently open your eyes.

Carry the sensation of inner light and clarity with you throughout your day, and return to this meditation whenever you feel the need to clear any darkness that may arise within yourself. Remember that your inner light is always there, ready to guide you back to a place of peace and self-acceptance.
