Guided Meditation for Releasing What Isn’t Yours

 

Begin by finding a quiet and comfortable place to sit or lie down. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to center yourself.

Visualize a strong and tall tree in front of you, its roots deeply embedded in the earth and its branches reaching up towards the sky. This tree represents the tree of life, connecting all living beings and energies.

Imagine yourself reaching out and wrapping your arms around the tree, feeling the rough texture of its bark against your skin. Take a moment to connect with the energy of the tree, feeling its strength and stability flowing into you.

As you breathe in and out, imagine inhaling the pure, grounding energy of the earth through the roots of the tree. Feel this energy flowing through your body, filling you with a sense of peace and strength.

Now, visualize any negative or heavy energy that is not yours being drawn out of your body and into the roots of the tree. Release any stress, worries, or emotions that are weighing you down, allowing them to be absorbed by the earth.

Continue to breathe deeply and slowly, allowing the tree of life to cleanse and purify your energy. Feel yourself becoming lighter and more grounded with each breath.

When you feel ready, slowly release your grip on the tree and open your eyes. Take a moment to thank the tree of life for its healing energy and for helping you release what is not yours.

You may choose to repeat this guided meditation regularly to maintain a sense of groundedness and connection to the earth. Trust in the power of the tree of life to support and guide you on your journey.
