Poem: Save the Forest

In a forest deep, where the shadows play,
A darkness creeps, threatening light’s gentle sway.
Creatures of magic, in fear they dwell,
Their home in danger, a tale to tell.

Ancient trees whisper, their leaves aflutter,
The river weeps, its song a mutter.
But hope still lingers, a flicker, a spark,
For united they stand, against the dark.

A sorcerer’s spell, a fairy’s charm,
A quest for peace, a forest alarm.
Together they journey, through moss and fern,
Their mission clear, their hearts yearn.

Gather the pieces, of a puzzle unseen,
Ingredients rare, for a spell so keen.
Moonbeams dance, the stars align,
A chorus of creatures, their voices entwine.

With magic and love, they chant the verse,
For the mystical forest, they cast a curse.
Banish the shadows, kindle the light,
On unity’s strength, they win the fight.

The magic forest, once more aglow,
Colors vibrant, in a radiant show.
A tale of courage, of friendship true,
In the heart of the forest, the magic grew.

Thank-you for reading.

Much love and light,

Brenda Marie
