Writing Through the Soul: Healing the Soul Through a Visit to the Soul

Today is my husband’s 60th birthday. We celebrated his birthday early with a visit to the shore.  Something we had not done in almost five years. Cape May had seemed to be calling for the two of us for a long time. There is something magical in Cape May, it heals the soul. Not just for me, but for my husband as well Cape seems to have the power to heal. Loving memories of our childhoods were shared. Both of us, having memories from childhood and being together in this lovely spot.

Both of us having sweet memories of visiting fountains with our grandfathers. Them telling us that if we throw coins into the fountain, all of our dreams will come true. When we were here at that fountain, we could feel our grandfathers with us.

New dreams and a new phase of life have begun for us.  Our son no longer lives at home and we both dream of living the rest of our lives in peace, joy and harmony.

Being here made all of the stress of life disappear.  Even if, if it was only for the day.  That is the magic of Cape May.

Happy Birthday is my twin soul and the love of my life. May our love last forever.
