Poem: Open Your Eyes

Open your eyes and see,

The world’s vast tapestry,

With colors bright and hues so deep,

In every corner, secrets to keep.

Beyond the veil of day’s soft light,

Lie stories whispered in the night,

Each star a tale, each moon a guide,

Through the realms where dreams abide.

Open your eyes and see,

The dance of life’s symphony,

In every leaf, in every tree,

A song of growth, of destiny.

Feel the pulse of the earth below,

As the rivers rush and mountains grow,

In every breath, in every breeze,

A whispered promise on the breeze.

Open your eyes and see,

The beauty in simplicity,

In every smile, in every tear,

A testament to all that’s dear.

For in this world of wonder wide,

Where oceans meet the sky’s divide,

There’s magic woven in each scene,

If only you’d open your eyes and see.

Thank-you for reading.

Much love and light,

Brenda Marie
