In shadows deep where darkness lies,
Where weary hearts and troubled eyes
Seek solace ‘neath the starlit skies,
Hope, a gentle ember, softly sighs.
It dances in the silent night,
A beacon in the fading light,
Guiding souls through endless plight,
With whispered promises so bright.
Through storms that rage and winds that howl,
When dreams are shattered, hopes disavow,
In the depths of despair, with furrowed brow,
Hope, steadfast, still stands, somehow.
For in the chambers of the human heart,
Where resilience and courage start,
Hope, the eternal flame, imparts
Strength to mend, to heal, to restart.
Though trials may come, and tears may flow,
Hope, undaunted, continues to grow,
It’s the melody in life’s ebb and flow,
A symphony of faith that we all know.
So let us cling to hope’s gentle grace,
In every trial, in every race,
For in the end, it’s hope’s embrace
That leads us to a brighter place.
Hope never dies, it forever thrives,
In the hearts of those who dare to strive,
In the depths of darkness, it revives,
A beacon of light, for as long as we’re alive.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and light,
Brenda Marie
