In the quiet of the dawn’s first light,
Where shadows yield to morning bright,
A heart finds peace, begins to see,
The strength that lies in simply “be.”
Acceptance, like a gentle stream,
Flows through the soul, a tranquil dream.
It whispers soft, “Just let it go,”
And in its wake, calm waters flow.
To hold the moment as it is,
Without the need for change or quiz.
Embrace the flaws, the scars, the pain,
For in these marks, true beauty’s gained.
The world, with all its varied hues,
From sunlit days to twilight blues,
Each shade, a part of life’s great blend,
Each chapter with a lesson penned.
In mirrored gaze, we meet our eyes,
Reflecting truths, discarding lies.
To love oneself, to fully see,
The perfect, imperfect tapestry.
Forgive the past, release its hold,
Embrace the present, brave and bold.
For in acceptance lies the grace,
To move through life at our own pace.
The storm may rage, the winds may roar,
But rooted deep, we stand secure.
In yielding, we discover might,
In surrender, find our guiding light.
So take a breath, let worries cease,
Find in your heart a gentle peace.
For life, with all its twists and bends,
Is richer when acceptance mends.
To open wide, to life’s embrace,
To find in every turn, a place.
Where hearts can heal, where minds can rest,
In accepting, we are truly blessed.
Thank-you for reading.
Much love and light,
Brenda Marie
