Poem: Inner Strength

In the quiet dawn of a breaking heart,
Where shadows linger, torn apart,
There lies a light, soft yet strong,
A melody in silence, a forgotten song.

Through the storm that howls and tears,
When the world feels cold, unaware,
There’s a fire that softly burns,
A gentle courage, as the spirit turns.

Not in the roar, but in the breath,
That stills the fear, defies death,
A whisper that rises in the night,
An unseen force, a hidden light.

When doubt knocks with heavy hands,
And life’s weight feels like sinking sands,
Remember the strength deep within,
The power to begin again, and again.

For inner strength is not a shield,
Nor a sword that battles in the field,
It’s the quiet resolve, the unseen grace,
That carries you through life’s hardest race.

So stand tall in the face of fear,
Let your inner voice be clear,
For within you lies a force untold,
A strength that’s worth its weight in gold.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
