Poem: The Vail

Beneath the veil, where shadows sleep,
A world unknown begins to creep.
In whispered winds, its secrets glide,
A dance of ghosts that softly hides.

The fabric thin, yet strong as stone,
A barrier where dreams are sown.
It shrouds the truth, it bends the light,
A curtain drawn ‘twixt day and night.

In twilight’s hush, the veil unfurls,
Revealing realms of hidden pearls.
The past and future, intertwined,
Are glimpsed within the veiled mind.

But dare you lift this mystic shroud,
To see beyond what’s not allowed?
For in that space, where time stands still,
The veil reveals its silent will.

Yet some things meant to stay concealed,
Are better left as dreams unreal.
The veil, it guards with gentle grace,
The secrets of that liminal space.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
