Oh, little black dachshund with eyes so bright,
You fill my heart with endless light.
Your paws tap-tap on the floor below,
A rhythm of joy wherever you go.
With your sleek black coat, a shiny hue,
You chase the sunbeams breaking through.
Your tail, it wags, a joyful beat,
As you prance along with your tiny feet.
A ball of love, so warm and true,
Every moment’s magic when shared with you.
Through every bark and playful bite,
You’re the sunshine that makes everything right.
In your cuddle, I find my peace,
Your loyalty, my heart’s release.
Oh, little black dachshund, soft and small,
You are the brightest joy of all.
Sunshine of my life, forever you’ll be,
My tiny shadow, always with me.
