Poem: The Bloom After the Storm

In the quiet dark where shadows cling,
A heart once fractured starts to sing.
The echoes of the pain subside,
As tender wounds no longer hide.

Each tear that fell, a hidden seed,
Planted deep where hope would plead.
In broken soil, the roots took hold,
And whispered stories yet untold.

The scars, they speak of battles past,
But healing blooms from hurt at last.
Through cracks, the light begins to pour,
A soul once shattered now restores.

Soft as dawn, the edges heal,
A tender strength, a new ideal.
For in the spaces pain once grew,
A garden rises, fresh and new.

So let the winds of grief depart,
And gentle hands rebuild the heart.
For healing comes, not swift, but slow—
Like flowers rising through the snow.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and light,

Brenda Marie
