In the quiet dawn of morning’s grace,
Where sunlight softly paints the space,
I find a world both bright and small,
In simple things that charm us all.
A cup of tea, warm to the touch,
The gentle kiss of a loved one’s clutch,
The rustle of leaves in a whispering breeze,
Moments of peace, my heart at ease.
The scent of rain on thirsty earth,
A child’s laugh, a song of mirth,
The warmth of a blanket on a cold, dark night,
These are the gifts that feel just right.
A book that opens with a worn, soft page,
A quiet corner, a thoughtful sage,
The sparkle of stars in a twilight sky,
Small wonders that make my spirit fly.
In every moment, big or small,
In the gentle rise and the evening’s fall,
Gratitude grows where hearts are free,
For the little things that mean so much to me.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and Light,
Brenda Marie
