Poem: Broken Glass

In shards of glass, the light refracts,
A thousand stories in fractured tracks.
Each splinter holds a whispered tale,
Of beauty lost, of journeys frail.

Once whole, a mirror of the soul,
Now scattered pieces, beyond control.
Yet in the break, the spirit gleams,
Reflecting hopes, and shattered dreams.

From chaos blooms a softer grace,
The jagged edges, a sacred space.
In every cut, a lesson learned,
In every crack, a fire burned.

For broken glass, though sharp and cold,
Speaks of resilience, brave and bold.
It shows us how to rise anew,
To find the light in what we rue.

So gather up the shards you find,
Embrace the lessons left behind.
In every fragment, beauty lies,
In brokenness, the spirit flies.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
