Poem: Some Walk Alone

Some are meant to walk their path alone,
With quiet steps on cobblestones of stone.
The whispers of the wind, their only guide,
In shadows deep where secrets often hide.

The moonlight spills like silver on their face,
A solitary dance in empty space.
Each heartbeat echoes in the silent night,
A compass forged in solitude’s soft light.

They carry dreams like lanterns in their hands,
Illuminating corners of distant lands.
Though paths may twist and turn beyond their sight,
They find their strength within the starry night.

For in the quiet, wisdom finds its way,
And solitude can weave a brighter day.
Some are meant to tread the winding road,
For in their hearts, the wildest tales are sown.

So let them walk, these souls of quiet grace,
For in their journey lies a sacred space.
Though they may roam where few have dared to go,
Some are meant to walk their path alone.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
