In a world where shadows creep,
And winter winds begin to weep,
Hold close the warmth that love can lend,
Don’t let your heart, my friend, descend.
The pavement glimmers, slick with ice,
Each step we take, a rolling dice,
But in the chill, let kindness bloom,
A single spark can light the gloom.
When voices echo, harsh and stark,
Let laughter be your guiding spark,
For even in the darkest night,
A shared smile can ignite the light.
The trees may bare their brittle bones,
And silence might fill empty homes,
But warmth can rise from tender words,
And hope take flight like flapping birds.
So tread with care on this cold ground,
Let love’s embrace be all around,
In a world that sometimes feels so bold,
Remember: hearts can never turn cold.

Much Love and Light,
