Poem: Look for the Light

In the quiet corners where shadows play,
I wander softly, seeking the day.
Through tangled thoughts and whispered fears,
I search for the spark that draws me near.

Each face a canvas, a story untold,
Beneath the surface, a heart of gold.
With every glance, I chase the glow,
The light that flickers, the warmth we know.

In the laughter shared, in tears that fall,
I find the brilliance in the rise and the stall.
For even in darkness, a flame can ignite,
A beacon of hope, a shimmer of light.

I gather the moments, the kindnesses shown,
The gentle reminders that we’re not alone.
In every soul, there’s a flicker, a gleam,
A truth that binds us, a shared dream.

So here I stand, with open heart wide,
Embracing the shadows, the joy, and the tide.
Always looking for light, in each fleeting glance,
Finding the beauty in every chance.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and light,

Brenda Marie
