Poem: The Light Inside Me

In the quiet dawn, when shadows flee,
A flicker awakens, the light inside me.
Soft as the whisper of morning’s first ray,
It dances and shimmers, guiding my way.

Through valleys of doubt, through mountains of fear,
This radiant amber, forever draws near.
A beacon of hope when the world feels so dark,
It ignites my spirit, igniting a spark.

With every heartbeat, it swells and it flows,
A current of warmth, as the garden of growth.
In storms of uncertainty, it fiercely remains,
A lighthouse of strength when the wildness regains.

I carry this fire, both fragile and bold,
A treasure within me, more precious than gold.
For in every struggle, in each winding road,
This luminous power is the light I’ll unfold.

So here I stand, with the universe wide,
Embracing the brilliance that lives deep inside.
With courage as my compass, and love as my guide,
I’ll shine through the darkness, forever my pride.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and light,

Brenda Marie
