Poem: A Glow Against the Frost

In the stillness of a winter’s night,
When breath hangs heavy, soft as light,
The world outside, a frozen glaze,
But warmth inside begins to blaze.

A cup of tea, the crackling fire,
Hands held close, hearts rising higher.
Each word we share, a gentle spark,
Lighting the dark, lighting the dark.

The wind may howl, the snow may fall,
But in this room, we’re safe, we’re all
Bound by the heat of love’s embrace,
A quiet warmth, a steady grace.

When coldness comes, as coldness will,
The warmth we give can carry still—
In every touch, in every glance,
A glowing light, a sacred dance.

So let the frost lay where it might,
For we have found the softest light,
In every smile, in every touch,
A warmth that makes the cold not much.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie

  1. Such a beautiful and heartwarming poem! I love how it captures the contrast between winter’s chill and the warmth of love and connection. A perfect reminder to cherish the light we share with others.
