Poem: Healing the World

Let the winds of kindness sweep the sky,
Let quiet rivers of peace flow by.
Through every crack and every seam,
We’ll stitch the fabric of a dream.

Beneath the weight of storm and strife,
We’ll plant the seeds that grow into new life.
With gentle hands, we’ll tend the soil,
And watch it bloom from patient toil.

The earth will hum a tender song,
A melody both soft and strong.
Where hearts are broken, let them mend,
With love that knows no bounds, no end.

For every tear, a river wide,
For every wound, a healing tide.
We’ll light the dark, we’ll lift the veil,
And guide each soul that’s gone astray.

In every language, every face,
We’ll find the threads that weave our grace.
No more division, no more war—
Just open hearts, and open doors.

Together, we will heal this earth,
And in that act, we’ll know its worth.
For in the kindness that we sow,
The world will rise, and love will grow.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
