Poem: Time to Start Anew

The sun has set on yesterday,
Its shadows fading, swept away.
A canvas waits, both bright and wide,
For dreams to paint, for hope to guide.

The road ahead, though yet unknown,
Is mine to walk, to call my own.
With every step, the past may fade,
A brighter dawn, a fresh parade.

The heart may ache, the soul may sigh,
But in the dark, new stars still lie.
Each breath I take, a promise true:
It’s time to start, it’s time to renew.

Let go of what has come and gone,
Embrace the light of a new dawn.
For in the change, there’s strength to find—
A rebirth of body, soul, and mind.

So here I stand, with courage new,
A world of chances in my view.
The past is done, the future bright—
It’s time to start, to take flight.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
