Deep Into the Soul
Beneath the skin, where silence dwells,
A place where truth, unspoken, swells,
Where shadows stretch and whispers glide,
And secrets in the stillness hide.
It’s here, where time has lost its weight,
Where doubts and dreams both ruminate,
A place where rivers of thought run deep,
And quiet currents never sleep.
The soul, a mirror cracked and whole,
Reflects the echoes of the goal,
The weight of love, the pull of pain,
The gentle touch of joy, of strain.
In this deep well, I dive and fall,
Untangling threads that bind us all,
For here is where the heart’s true voice
Unfolds in silence, makes its choice.
No words, no noise, no need for sound,
Just whispers in the void unbound,
A knowing that is far beyond,
The fleeting grasp of dusk or dawn.
Deep into the soul, I find the fire,
A spark of truth, a pure desire,
To know, to feel, to simply be—
A part of all eternity.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and Light,
Brenda Marie
