Poem: The Road Never Walked

A whisper winds through the shadowed trees,
A path concealed by forgotten leaves.
It calls to the hearts both young and old—
A tale of secrets, brave and bold.

No footprints dance upon its clay,
No lantern light to guide the way.
The moon hesitates, caught in mist—
A road untouched, a path unkissed.

It twists and bends, both near and far,
A hidden dream, a fading star.
What lies beyond its veil of gray?
The promise of another day?

Would you dare to take the step,
Into the quiet, where shadows crept?
No map to trace, no voices call—
Only the wind and the nightfall.

But oh, the stories it might unfold—
Of wonders new and tales untold,
A heart unbound, a soul set free—
What might the road hold for thee?

The journey’s a question, faint and deep,
Where silence dances and secrets sleep.
A road never walked, a path untried—
The mystery there, your soul’s to guide.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
